And you don’t have to be in shape to start – the adult clesses are designed to help you get into shape, gradually and safely. All you have to do is to turn up and try and our instructors will help you train based on your current abilities.

Our syllabus is designed to take a student from White Sash to Black Sash Leader and it will take on average 36 months. Most of our students train once or twice a week, but if you want to train more then that’s fine! Should you miss any classes due to illness or holiday, then we will do whatever is necessary for you to catch up.

Students who are concerned about their PERSONAL SAFETY often begin our adult classes with us as a way to learn self-defence, but they soon discover the many additional benefits of a workout that is a little bit different than pounding the gym! Martial arts training provides improved cardiovascular workout with high level of personal challenge, while relieving stress and tension. It is truly fitness with a purpose!
